Despite reports, there’s no sign of Beyoncé

Taylor Swift has been confirmed as the final big name performing at The BRIT Awards in London later this month.

The ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’ songstress joins fellow live performers Justin Timberlake, Robbie Williams, One Direction, Ben Howard, Mumford & Sons and Emeli Sandé at the James Corden hosted bash.

Despite widespread media reports that Beyoncé would play The BRITs, she doesn’t feature in the final line-up.

This year’s performances will be available to download on iTunes immediately afterwards with all proceeds for the first month going to charity War Child.

As well as singing live, Taylor Swift will be battling it out against Alicia Keys, Cat Power, Lana Del Rey and Rihanna for the coveted International Female Solo Artist award.

Emeli Sandé unsurprisingly leads the charge at this year’s BRITs with three nominations – British Female Solo Artist, British Single and Mastercard Album of the Year.

Muse, Plan B, Rita Ora, Jessie Ware, Ben Howard, Coldplay, Paloma Faith and Olly Murs all received two nominations each.

Also in the mix out for a Damien Hirst designed BRITs statue are Rihanna, The Rolling Stones, Lana Del Rey, The Vaccines, One Direction, Taylor Swift and Alicia Keys.

The BRIT Awards takes place at London O2 Arena on Wednesday 20th February 2013.
