Stephen Hawking: ‘There could be a parallel universe with Zayn still in One Direction’
He recommends heartbroken girls to pay attention to the study of theoretical physics
Famous theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking has given hope to Directioners by suggesting Zayn Malik could still be part of the boyband in an alternate universe.
Malik left the boyband last month to become a ‘normal 22-year-old’ due to stress caused by press speculation over his love life.
Although the band have continued as a four-piece and recently announced they have started work on their next album, many Directioners are still upset by Zayn’s departure."
However Hawking has provided them with fresh hope at a recent lecture in Sydney Opera House.
After a member of the audience asked, “What do you think is the cosmological effect of Zayn leaving One Direction and consequently breaking the hearts of millions of teenage girls across the world?”, he replied by joking “Finally, a question about something important”.
He continued: “My advice to any heartbroken young girl is to pay close attention to the study of theoretical physics, because one day there may well be proof of multiple universes."
“It would not be beyond the realms of possibility that somewhere outside of our universe lays another different universe. And in that universe, Zayn is still in One Direction.
“This girl in the audience may like to know that in another possible universe, she and Zayn are happily married,” he said.
Meanwhile, Hawking recently covered Monty Python’s ‘Galaxy Song’ for Record Store Day, which was released on limited edition seven-inch vinyl earlier this month.
He had previously appeared onstage with the comedy group during their live reunion shows last year.
