Sam Smith meets his waxwork and urges fans to 'squeeze my wax bum!'

Forget the millions of record sales and countless coveted music awards; Sam Smith has cemented his status in the big time by getting his very own Madame Tussauds waxwork.
The ‘Stay With Me’ singer came face-to-face with his waxy likeness at Madame Tussauds in San Francisco yesterday and was blown away with the results.
“I can’t actually believe that I’m going to be in Madame Tussauds,” Sam gushed. “This is the ultimate ‘pinch yourself’ moment. The process was so fascinating and I will never look at a wax figure in the same way again.”
He joked: “Thank you Madame Tussauds, and hope you all have fun. Feel free to squeeze my wax bum!”
Ahead of the wax figure being created, Sam spent many hours with the Madame Tussauds team who took over 250 measurements, identified the exact eye colour and detailed each strand of hair.
To make the look even more authentic, Sam even donated one of his suits and a pair of shoes.
Sam’s waxwork sits alongside a plethora of A-Listers in San Francisco including Lady Gaga and Michael Jackson.
