The world's biggest 80s festival returned for 2022, and it kicked off with a fantastic weekend in Scotland! We've got all the details about Rewind Festival 2022 and to celebrate the return of the amazing festival, we've put together everything you need to know about all of the 2022 festivals as well as some details about Rewind Festival 2023.

Tay FM is the Official Radio Partner for Rewind 2022 and we're taking a look back at Rewind Scotland 2022, as well as getting excited for the next festival.

Rewind Scotland took place from 22nd to 24th July at Scone Palace in Perth, and saw thousands of festival goers in fancy dress enjoying the amazing performances and other fun activities around the arena.

Presenters Ewen Cameron, Cat Harvey, Arlene Stuart and Webster were all out and about over the weekend catching up with the crowds and interviewing some of the talented artists backstage.

Rewind Scotland opened with a unique show from Queen Symphonic featuring a full symphony orchestra, a fantastic rock band, and four soloists performing some of Queen’s greatest hits. Holly Johnson headlined Saturday's show with his incredible hits including 'Relax', 'Two Tribes', 'Power of Love', and many more.

Legendary Scottish band Wet Wet Wet later made their Rewind Scotland debut as they headlined on Sunday night to close the festival.

Rewind Scotland was held at Scone Palace in Perth from 22nd-24th July 2022.

What were the Rewind Scotland opening times?

Ahead of the festival starting, Rewind shared the opening times of the box office, car park, campsite and arena.

As well as watching performances on the main stage, the Pink Flamingo Club was open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday with lots of great acts and cover bands.

Who performed at Rewind North 2022?

Saturday at Rewind North saw Holly Johnson headline the show, as well as The Doctor (Dr. & The Medics) host an unforgettable show on the main stage.

The Human League headlined on Sunday, with Pat Sharp hosting on the main stage!

It also saw incredible performances by Heather Small, Level 42, Kim Wilde, Scritti Politti, Midge Ure, Soul II Soul, Belinda Carlisle, Tunde (Lighthouse Family) and many many more amazing artists.

Due to personal family issues, Sugarhill Gang has cancelled their European tour including their performance at Rewind North. Pop group Five Star played in their place on Saturday 6th August.

Who performed at Rewind South 2022?

Holly Johnson and The Human League returned to the Rewind Festival to headline Rewind South on Saturday and Sunday.

The Saturday shows were hosted by The Doctor (Dr. & The Medics), with presenter Pat Sharp hosting the Sunday performances.

Across the weekend there were fantastic performances from Level 42, Kim Wilde, Belinda Carlisle, Martin Kemp, Heather Small, Björn Again, Odyssey, Blancmange, and Pat Sharp and many more talented artists.
