Published 2nd Apr 2013

One Direction are set to be revealed as the richest boyband in the UK with an impressive combined worth of £25million!

This month The Sunday Times will publish its annual Rich List countdown and the boys from One Direction have fared pretty well!

It’s reported that Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik and Niall Horan have amassed a personal fortune of £5million each since their debut single ‘What Makes You Beautiful’ stormed to number one in 2011.

Over the past two years they’ve topped the charts in dozens of countries with ‘Up All Night’ and ‘Take Me Home’, performed a string of sold-out tours across the globe, made millions from merchandise sales and even commissioned their own 3D movie.

Their estimated £25million combined fortune makes the lads the most profitable boyband in the UK right now and propels them to number one in the list of richest musicians under 30.

One Direction’s chart-topping Comic Relief single ‘One Way or Another (Teenage Kicks)’ also earned them a spot in the leading charity donators list. Good work lads!
