Olly Murs reveals his celebrity crush

Olly Murs has revealed he has a celebrity crush and you might be surprised at who the object of his desire is.

The 'Wrapped Up' singer has been quoted by a national newspaper saying that he has a crush on former Hollyoaks actress Gemma Atkinson.

Olly told the reporter,

“I used to watch Hollyoaks. I used to have posters up on my wall.

“It’s a bit of harmless flirting – you know when you just follow people on Instagram?

“She’s a nice girl. I’ve met Gemma only once. Gemma’s great."

Olly described the actress, who currently stars in Emmerdale and presents our sister station's breakfast show, as "well fit".

On hearing this news Gemma was quizzed by her co-hosts.

Matt and Mike, part of the Gemma, Matt and Mike breakfast show on Manchester's Key 103, wanted to find out if the feeling was mutual, asking Gemma, "do you appreciate those words?" To which she laughed before answering "yeah, of course I do."

While Gemma wouldn't disclose exactly what had been said between the pair, she did say if he asked her out for tea and pizza she would say yes.

Olly is currently on tour and recently posted a raunchy video of himself wearing nothing but a very small kilt, filmed backstage before his Glasgow gig.
