Mae knows a thing or two about touring, having toured with Little Mix on their 'LM5' tour back in 2019, and told us what she learnt from them.
"Sometimes they would do two shows in one day and that show is like a two and a half hour HIIT class whilst singing! Honestly the amount of effort and strength it takes is insane," she explained.
"I remember them actually saying to me: 'Just enjoy it, just take this experience.' We're in such a lucky position. I've tried to take that with me through Eurovision as well. Take each day as it comes, enjoy each experience and each lesson. It'll fly by and then I'll be like 'oh, I wish I'd taken that in a bit more'. So that's what I'm trying to do."
Mae's song 'I Wrote A Song'
Mae's Eurovision song isn't just a great bop, it also became the first UK Eurovision entry to debut inside the Top 40 in its first week since 2011! The song was written by Mae with the inspiration being some past relationships, and the music video features the singer along with some dancers.
The video is cleverly shot flicking between scenes that you think are 'normal size' before a 'giant' Mae appears and puts things into perspective.
