Lady Gaga Wears Salvador Dali Moustache For 'Gypsy' Debut

See Mother Monster performing the song in Berlin

Lady Gaga channelled the spirit of legendary artist Salvador Dali for her debut performance of ‘Gypsy’ in Berlin last night.

Mother Monster was in the German capital for her official ‘ARTPOP’ album listening party and, as always, grabbed the headlines with her new guise.

Wearing a trademark Dali moustache and freaky contact lenses, Gaga performed her ‘ARTPOP’ track ‘Gypsy’ for the very first time.

Before launching into the song, she told the crowd: "I wrote this song when I was travelling around the world... They say that a gypsy doesn't have a home but I have a home with you always."

Markedly different from the dance-fuelled ‘ARTPOP’ songs revealed so far, the powerful piano ballad is certain to become a huge favourite among fans.

By the end of the performance, Gaga had the German fans waving their arms around in unison and singing along.

Also boasting ‘Applause’, ‘Venus’ and ‘Do What U Want’ (ft. R Kelly), ‘ARTPOP’ is released in the UK on Monday 11th November.

Lady Gaga’s first two albums – 2008’s ‘The Fame’ and 2011’s ‘Born This Way’ – have sold more than 21million copies worldwide combined.
