The Killers Ready To 'Take A Breather' From Music
Drummer Ronnie Vannucci can’t wait to put his feet up
The Killers’ drummer Ronnie Vannucci says the band are ready to “take a breather” from music for the foreseeable future.
Insisting that the Las Vegas rockers will reconvene at some point at the future, Ronnie says the foursome are looking forward to “put their feet up” after a decade of incessant work.
Asked by The Hollywood Reporter when they plan to get back together, Ronnie said: "I think it will be a little while.
“I don't think it will take an unnaturally long time for us to get guys together. But it's time to take a breather and ground out a little bit.
"I think everybody is looking forward to putting their feet up for a little while and having some normalcy."
The Killers played a one-off London show at the Hammersmith Apollo on Wednesday night (6th November) to celebrate the release of their best of album ‘Direct Hits’ next Monday.
Front man Brandon Flowers has previously announced his intentions to record his second solo album next year.
His debut album ‘Flamingo’ topped the UK album chart in September 2010.
