Katy Perry Unveils Prismatic World Tour Stage
The custom setup encircles a fan pit
Katy Perry has given her fans a first look at the striking Prismatic World Tour stage.
!Resembling a futuristic sci-fi spaceship, the triangular stage stretches across the arena floor features a fan pit in the middle and a huge turquoise prism backdrop.
Unveiling it last night, Katy tweeted: “In celebration of tomorrow's (US) PRISMATIC WORLD TOUR PRESALE may I exclusively present a SNEAK PEEK of my custom STAGE.”
Katy has clearly taken influence from Lady Gaga whose Born This Way Ball tour features a Monster Pit at the front of the stage.
Entry to Gaga’s Monster Pit was not reserved for those with the most expensive tickets – instead they were given to the most dedicated fans who arrived to the venues first.
The Prismatic World Tour opens at Belfast Odyssey Arena on Wednesday 7th May before taking in shows in Newcastle, Nottingham, Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester, Liverpool, Sheffield and London.
