Katy Perry's 'Prism' Declared Potential Biohazard in Australia!
Officials raise concerns about the record
Katy Perry’s fourth album ‘Prism’ has reportedly been declared a “potential biohazard” by authorities in Australia!
The limited-edition deluxe version of the album comes with a pack of seeds that Katy is encouraging her fans to plant in a green initiative.
According to Billboard, the singer’s management hadn’t cleared their plans with Australia’s Department of Agriculture so the albums have been deemed a potential danger.
Fans who buy deluxe albums made Down Under will have no problems as the seeds are sourced from Western Australia, however, those who buy imported CD from online retailers run the risk of having their album seized.
Despite the ban on imported CDs, ‘Prism’ has been a huge success in Australia topping the album chart earlier this week.
Lead track ‘Roar’ held a seven week residency at the top of the singles chart in the country.
