Gary Barlow To Release First Solo Album in 14 Years
The as-yet-untitled album is out on 25th November
Gary Barlow will release his first solo album in 14 years later this autumn.
Taking to Twitter to announce the news, 42-year-old Gary wrote: “After 14 long years I’m proud to announce my new solo album out on November 25th! I’m excited for u to hear it! More into to follow #gbsolo”
The album title, track listing and further information will be unveiled by his label Polydor Records in the coming weeks.
Gary’s previous studio album ‘Twelve Months, Eleven Days’ was released back in October 1999. It was the follow-up to his chart-topping debut ‘Open Road’ from 1997.
The X Factor judge’s short LP with The Commonwealth Band, ‘Sing’, released to commemorate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, also hit number one in May 2012.
As a solo artist and with Take That, Gary has sold 30million albums, scored 15 number 1 singles, sold seven million concert tickets and been awarded six prestigious Ivor Novello Awards.
