It was just 11 days ago that the British singer celebrated his 26th birthday by releasing a single from his forthcoming album, 'How Would You Feel (Paean)', which also entered the top ten.

It is also just less than eight weeks since he smashed into the charts at number one and two with his comeback singles 'Shape of You' and 'Castle on the Hill'.

Whilst Ed wasn't nominated for any BRIT awards this year, having taken a break from music in 2016, he performed a surprise collaboration with rapper Stormzy with a mashup of 'Castle on the Hill' and 'Shape of You'.

Adding to Ed's domination of the chart 'Shape Of You (Stormzy Remix)' is the current UK number one.
