After a phenomenal past 12 months, Scottish producer, songwriter and EDM powerhouse, Calvin Harris, is a new entry number two on The Sunday Times ‘aged 30 and under’ music rich list.
30-year-old Calvin has had a £100,000 a night Las Vegas residency, played huge sets at festivals including Coachella and T in the Park, penned singles for his girlfriend Rita Ora and Pitbull and released his own hit singles earning him a phenomenal £30million.
The unstoppable Adele has seen her fortunes rise 50% in the past year to an eye-watering £45million to maintain the 30s and under top spot.
Adele, 26, is set to release her eagerly awaited third album later this year and it’s widely expected that her phenomenal wealth will rise even further.
One Direction are estimated by The Sunday Times to have the most collective wealth - £70million – thanks to their new album ‘Up All Night’ and their global Where We Are Tour.
Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne have each seen their bank balances swell £9million to a hefty £14million.
Other than Calvin Harris, the only other new entry inside the Top 10 is Mumford & Sons frontman Marcus Mumford and his actress wife Carey Mulligan.
