Adam Levine and Lady Gaga Exchange Blows On Twitter
Their very public spat continues
Maroon 5’s Adam Levine has hit out at Lady Gaga once again after the pair hit out at each other on Twitter over the weekend.
On Saturday, 34-year-old Levine took to the social networking site to criticise Lady Gaga’s artistic integrity.
In a thinly veiled attack, he told his 4.4million followers: “Ugh..recycling old art for a younger generation doesn't make you an artist. It makes you an art teacher.”
He added: “I unabashedly love writing and performing pop music for both myself AND everyone around me. That's It. It doesn't need any extra sauce.”
Retaliating, Lady Gaga brushed Levine aside by writing: “uh oh guys the art police is here.”
Refusing to let things lie, Levine refuelled the (very one-sided) exchange of blows last night by writing: “Methinks thou dost protest too much...yikes!!!
“by the way, im NOT an artist. i sing in a band and i make music with my friends.
“while we're at it we should call the grammar police.”
We await Lady Gaga’s punchy response with baited breath…
Featuring the global smash ‘Applause’, Lady Gaga’s eagerly awaited third album ‘ARTPOP’ is released on 11th November.
