Eurovision fever is hotting up so here are some of the most memorable performances from the competition, whether they be for good or bad reasons!

The Good

'Puppet on a String' by Sandie Shaw (1967)

This fairground inspired song was very catchy and was the UK's first ever winner.

'Boom Bang-a-Bang' by Lulu (1969)

Another win for the UK came only two years later with this extremely catchy tune. However it was unusually joint first, tied with Spain and France.

'Making Your Mind Up' by Bucks Fizz (1981)

It was a winner that year and later a UK number one. The catchy song by the four piece, who had only formed two months earlier, is still held high in people's affections today.

'Love Shine a Light' by Katrina and the Waves (1997)

Scoring an unprecedented 227 points, this catchy hit scored 12 points, the maximum that can be awarded, from a whopping ten countries.

The Bad

'Cry Baby' by Jemini (2003)

The dreaded finally happened and Britain received NIL POINTS. We'll let you watch the video and flashback to all that was wrong with this entry.

'Flying the Flag (For You)' by Scooch (2007)

Despite their airline themed routine this song unfortunately failed to take off scoring only 19 points.

The Unknown

Former X Factor contestant Lucie Jones will be performing 'Never Give Up On You' this year.

The live Eurovision Song Contest final takes place at 8pm on Saturday 13th May.
