In 'The Dressmaker' she plays Tilly Dunnage, who's from a teeny tiny town in the Australian Outback but has left it behind and become an accomplished dressmaker in Europe.
However she returns to her home to care for her sick mum, and to work out if a black spot in her past is true or false.
Liam Hemsworth, who's best known for his work in 'The Hunger Games', plays Kate's love interest, and she told Lydia he was 'a dream'.
