WATCH: Jenny Beavan wins Best Costume but lots of famous people don't clap
She attended the ceremony wearing a leather jacket and trousers.
She's been nominated for 10 Oscars, but British costume designer Jenny Beavan didn't receive an applause from a number of famous people as Cate Blanchett announced her as a winner last night.
Even though she's received more nominations than many in the auditorium some near the stage didn't clap including Alejandro González Iñárritu who won the award for Best Director for The Revenant.
Jenny broke the mould attending the event wearing a custom-made leather jacket and trousers which didn't seem to go down too well with some of the onlookers, but the award winning costume designer didn't seem to be bothered - so good on her.
Jenny started her acceptance speech saying "what another lovely day", going on to talk about climate change and how Mad Max could be "prophetic".
Talking backstage she said, "I don't do frocks and absolutely don't do heels, I have a bad back. I look ridiculous in a beautiful gown."
Stephen Fry caused controversy at the Baftas earlier this month when he described Jenny as a 'bag lady' after she won the award for the Best Costume Design.
