WATCH: Alicia Vikander reveals cruel trick she played on set of new film The Light Between Oceans
She's starring in the drama opposite real-life boyfriend Michael Fassbender
Alicia Vikander has admitted she had some fun with the prosthetics for her new film The Light Between Oceans.
The Oscar winner is starring in the film opposite real-life boyfriend Michael Fassbender. The harrowing romantic drama, which is based off the best selling book, tells the story of a lighthouse keeper and wife who adopt a baby that washes up in a rowboat on their shore.
Alicia and Michael have to sport old-age prosthetics for part of this film, and Michael admits it made him feel a bit better about the aging process.
'It's a bit weird at first but you get used to it after a while', the Irish actor mused.
But Alicia says she decided to have some fun with the impressive makeup, and play a trick on her unsuspecting parents.
'I hadn't seen my parents in a while, and it looked really rugged like i'd done I don't know what for a few years', Alicia revealed.
'So i sent it to my parents and said 'it's going well, i'm a bit tired', and they were like 'what's going on!', the Swedish actress joked.
