Two Gogglebox stars get engaged in one week!
Love is in the air on the hit Channel 4 show
It’s been a big week for the stars of hit Channel 4 show Gogglebox with two of them getting engaged in the past few days!
Just months after we were left shell-shocked and stunned by her split from ‘Silent Jay’, Eve Woerdenweber broke the news last weekend that she is tying the knot.
Sharing a photo of her Princess Diana-esque blue engagement ring, Eve told her Twitter followers: “I was proposed to in Venice and I said yes to my lovely fiancé. I love you sweetheart @Josh1on1”
She later shared a pic of herself before shooting the latest episode of Gogglebox, writing: “Filming #gogglebox and trying not to stare at my beautiful ring from my beautiful fiancé & soul mate. #engaged”
Making it a double-whammy of Gogglebox engagements, Chris Steed confirmed that he is engaged – but it’s not to his ex-boyfriend and Gogglebox co-star Stephen Webb.
Chris, one half of the hilarious Brighton on-screen duo, flashed his impressive bling on social media revealing that boyfriend Tony Butland had popped the BIG question at the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. How romantic!
Referencing Beyonce’s ‘Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It), the hairdresser enthused: “It's official............I can't sing Beyoncé anymore thanks to @Tony_Butland x”
Stephen Webb has confirmed that he and Chris will definitely still be appearing on Gogglebox together in the future.
Gogglebox is screened on Channel 4 at 9pm every Friday night.
