Shawn Mendes has revealed why he's NOT dating

He's one of the most successful musicians in the world with hits like 'Mercy' and 'Stitches', so there's absolutely no surprise that Canadian singer Shawn Mendes has people falling at his feet.
But after not having any high profile romances during his time at the top, Shawn has now revealed the real reason why he isn't dating, and it's just made us love him even more.
Admitting it's not because he doesn't have time, Shawn told Variety, "I'm not currently dating anyone, but it's not because I don't have time — I don't know if I'd be dating anyone if I was home in Pickering, either."
He then added, "It hasn't stumbled across me, and I'm not chasing it."
But it looks like Shawn is certainly open to a relationship in the near future, as he said, "Of course, seeing all those other artists and people in relationships, you think, 'Maybe it would be nice; who would be great for me?'"

Meanwhile, Shawn delighted his fans earlier this year when he announced a mammoth UK tour for 2019.
Shawn, who is known for his massive hit singles 'Stitches', 'Treat You Better' and 'There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back', is playing dates in Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds and London.

Despite still only being 20-years-old, Shawn has already released three hit albums, 'Handwritten' in 2015 and 'Illuminate' in 2016. He also scored his first UK Number 1 in 2015 with his amazing track 'Stitches'.
Then, in May this year, Shawn dropped his hugely-anticipated self-titled album 'Shawn Mendes', featuring the track 'In My Blood'.
