Singing superstar Rihanna has broken her silence on social media after being called 'fat' by a sports journalist.
Last month the journalist wrote a blog with the title 'Is Rihanna going to make being fat the hot new trend?', and even stated she 'looked like she was wearing a sumo suit' in a recent picture.

Responding to the criticism in the perfect way, Rihanna has now shared a meme of American hip-hop star Gucci Mane's transformation from 2007 to 2017. She wrote, 'If you can't handle me at my 2007 Gucci Mane, you don't deserve me at my 2017 Gucci Mane', alongside a sad face emoji.
Fans were quick to defend the star in the comments section. One user wrote, 'Weight is just a number. Just focus on being happy, none of us fans really matter when it comes to your own well being and peace of mind', with another simply adding, 'Queen'.
Rihanna's post comes just days after the journalist, who originally wrote the comments, was reportedly suspended from his job. The 350-word blog has also now been deleted.
Rihanna is reportedly working on new music, with her track 'Umbrella' being ten-years-old this year!
