One Direction's Niall Horan blasts 'abusive' trolls who threatened his family
The singer admitted they keep him awake at night
Niall Horan took to Twitter to vent his disappointment at having been bombarded with messages from fans that aimed abuse at his family.
In a series of tweets the Irish singer admitted he had been 'kept awake at night' by the nasty messages, which were aimed at his family and in particular his little nephew.
After blasting the trolls, the 22-year-old reassured fans he was fine and told them 'Don't worry about me'.
Of course Directioners were quick to show their support for the star, sending messages with their love for him.
The news comes just a week after Niall's band member, Louis Tomlinson, was involved in a similar situation.
Louis received a chilling phone call from a 'fan' in which she can be heard threatening his six-month-old son, Freddie Reign.
In the audio which was released on social media, the girl says "I hope your baby dies" to which a shocked Louis replies "Did you really just say that?"
Luckily for Louis he was recording the conversation and has reportedly involved his lawyers.
In good news it's rumoured Niall has been busy recording solo material.
Friend and One Direction songwriter, Wayne Hector, recently admitted himself and Niall are working on solo material, saying "We are writing together but he wants to do it for himself and no other people at the moment. We have no idea where we’ll end up."
There is no official confirmation of when the album will be ready but we seriously cannot wait!
