One Direction fans plea for boy band to visit Leah Washington in hospital after horrific Alton Towers ride crash
One Direction fans have started an online campaign with the aim of getting the famous four piece to visit Alton Towers crash victim Leah Washington in hospital.
The Facebook plea by Leah's friend, Sara Stuart, states that the 17-year-old was due to see her favourite boyband this summer but was unable to make the concert after being involved in a horrific incident at the theme park.
It was revealed this week that Leah lost a leg after the crash on 'The Smiler' which remains closed.
Friends are rallying for the band to pay her a visit and Sara wrote in the Facebook post: “As any Directioner would understand this was a big deal to her and she was so upset. She has seen them on many occasions and the hospital room is full of posters of them!"
The band are yet to confirm their attendance but Louis Tomlinson tweeted his support.
