Olly Murs reduced to tears on The Voice when asked about estranged twin brother

Olly hasn't spoke to his brother in over 10 years

We are used to seeing 'Wrapped Up' singer Olly Murs in high spirits with his beaming personality, but on the upcoming episode of The Voice UK, fans will get to see another side of the former X Factor star.

Olly, who recently went public with his new girlfriend Amelia Tank, breaks down in tears on Saturday night's episode, after seeing twin brothers audition.

Olly hasn't spoken to his own twin brother Ben in over 10 years, after the pair fell out when Olly couldn't make his wedding due to filming for The X Factor, and it looks like the pain still gets to the singer.

When fellow judge will.i.am asks Olly what his brother looks like, the 35-year-old says, "We haven't spoken for ten years. We had a big argument. I was on X Factor and I couldn’t make his wedding because I was on the show."

Getting emotional, Olly continued, "I feel like the next time I am going to see him is going to be at the worst place to see someone. It will be at someone's funeral that we lose in the family. I don't want that to be the case.

"It brings back memories when I see twins. When we were kids we used to sing all the time."

After seeing Olly get upset, Sir Tom Jones gives a word of advice, adding, '"I understand what you're feeling, but you will do it - you'll get back together."

After their public fallout, Olly's brother Ben decided to take his wife's surname when they got married, to distance himself away from his famous pop star brother.

Meanwhile, in happier news for Olly, the singer went public with his new girlfriend earlier this month, after being single for over four years.

Posting an adorable pic of the pair on Instagram, Olly said, 'Wishing all my followers the happiest new year!! 2019 was a very positive year for me... winning The Voice with Molly, toured my album, had long overdue knee surgery, and met an amazing woman in the process!!

'2020 I’m ready for ya! Love you all, and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!' sic
