Neighbours make MAJOR blunders in new opening titles
Someone didn't check their spellings!
Australian soap Neighbours returned to Channel 5 this week with brand new opening titles, but eagle eyed viewers noticed not one, but THREE spelling mistakes.
The new titles show the cast posing alongside text of their real names and character names, and it seems Neighbours bosses haven’t done their homework, failing to know how to spell some of their actors’ names.
Three of the soaps biggest cast members all feature in the new show opening and all of them had their real names spelt wrong.
Former Celebrity Big Brother star and Neighbours legend Ryan Moloney had his name written as Ryan Maloney.
And the blunders didn’t stop there! Actress Colette Mann had an extra ‘l’ in her name, reading Collette and they made the same mistake with Zoe Cramond, by adding an extra ‘m’ to her surname.

It didn’t take fans of the show long to notice the blunder, with many taking to Twitter to point out the embarrassing mistakes…
After the mistake aired, production company FremantleMedia gave the following statement to Digital Spy, "It looks like the opening credits team may have had one too many sherries over Christmas! We'd like to thank our eagle-eyed audience for spotting this.
"We've alerted the production team in Australia who are correcting the opening titles and we'll have the right names in place as soon as we can. The production team have apologised to the affected cast members in the meantime."
Neighbours, which first hit UK TV screens in 1986, airs on Channel 5 weekdays at both 1.45pm and 5.30pm.
