Pop Idol star Michelle McManus welcomes baby and reveals cute name
It's her second child
Congratulations are in order for Pop Idol legend Michelle McManus, as the 'All This Time' singer has welcomed her second child with her husband Jeff Nimmo.
Michelle, who won the second series of Pop Idol in 2003, took to her Instagram page to confirm the lovely news, revealing she's given birth to a baby boy called Nicholas.
Sharing a cute photo of her son in his moses basket, Michelle wrote: 'Goodbye January 2022 👏 although I don’t know how any other month this year could possibly top you as you’re the month we welcomed the newest addition to our family 👶🏻❤️ Please say hello to Nicholas Peter Nimmo. You are so perfect in every way and we’re just so madly in love with you. Thank you for completing our family and our world. Love Mummy, Daddy and Harry 💙💙💙💙 #love #family #newarrival #babyboy #babybrother'. '(sic)
Michelle's fans and friends were quick to comment on the cute photo. One wrote: 'He’s a wee treasure! Well done, you’re a clever lassie. Hunners of love to you all. ❤️❤️❤️'.
Another added: 'Congratulations 👨👩👦👦❤️❤️❤️ lovely news. Xxxx', with a third commenting: 'Best news ever Michelle. Sooo happy for you all xxx ♥️'.
Another then added: 'Many congrats to you all. What a gorgeous boy! Sending loads of love to you all ❤️'. (sic)

Baby Nicholas is Michelle and Jeff's second child together, the pair also have a son called Harry who was born in 2020. After the pair got engaged in Tenerife in 2016, they went on to get married in Scotland a year later, following two years of dating.
Michelle was crowned the winner of talent show Pop Idol in 2003, during the second and final series of the hit show.
She went on to sign a record deal worth £1 million, releasing her album 'The Meaning of Love', which featured hits like 'All This Time' and 'Emotional'.
Congratulations to Michelle and Jeff on the birth of their baby boy.
