Made in Chelsea plane crashes in the Pacific with crew on board
The plane was on the way to Costa Rica
A small plane carrying four members of the Made In Chelsea crew has crashed over the Pacific ocean.
The plane carrying two senior producers and two technical directors was on the way to Costa Rica where the cast are set to film the new series of the popular E4 reality show.
Luckily, all four crew members and the pilot all escaped the incident unharmed and were rescued by local coastguards before being taken to a local hospital as a precaution.
A spokesperson for the show's production company said, "Four of our production team on Made in Chelsea, produced by Monkey Kingdom, were involved in a plane crash in a resort in Costa Rica. We can confirm that all four people and the pilot are safe and unhurt. No cast were on board."
According to reports the scary incident was caused when the aircraft they were travelling in hit bad weather.
Filming for the one-off special in Costa Rica has now been suspended, with all four crew members understood to be back in the UK.
The show has been a popular addition to E4 since it first started back in 2011 and helped kick-start the careers of Spencer Matthews, Ollie Locke, Lucy Watson and Jamie Laing.
