Ahead of The BRITs, Lorde talks about why her birth certificate is on the Internet

Lorde is performing alongside Disclosure at The BRITs 2014 and ahead of award ceremony she spoke to Stu Tolan about her time in the UK. "I really love London. You have such an expectation, seeing it in the movies and seeing it on TV, and it's exactly the same as your expectation but at the same time totally different. There's something about that that I find really interesting."

A quick Google Search will turn up Lorde's birth certificate online. Stu asked her why this was available on the Internet. "The problem is people think I'm way older than I say I am. They're called the 'Lorde Age Truthers'. That's so nice isn't it! When people want to scan your birth certificate to make sure you're not lying. Nice people!" Lorde said sarcastically.
