Lady Gaga has responded to comments about her appearance during her Super Bowl halftime performance.

Gaga took to the stage wearing short shorts and a crop top for her halftime show, leading some viewers to mock her ā€˜pot bellyā€™. Gagaā€™s hit back with an Insta post of her and her dancers at the show, writing: ā€˜I heard my body is a topic of conversation so I wanted to say, I'm proud of my body and you should be proud of yours too. No matter who you are or what you do.

Gaga continued: ā€˜I could give you a million reasons why you don't need to cater to anyone or anything to succeed. Be you, and be relentlessly you. That's the stuff of champions. thank you so much everyone for supporting me. I love you guys. Xoxo, gaga.ā€™

FOX has revealed that Gagaā€™s halftime show has become the second most viewed Super Bowl performance ever. 117.5 million people watched Gagaā€™s 13 minute performance. Katy Perry hold the spot of the most viewed Super Bowl show, 120.7 million people tuned in to see her 2015 show.
