Kim Kardashian admits selfie obsession is 'ridiculous'
But she's not going to be stopping any time soon
Kim Kardashian has admitted that her unrelenting selfie obsession is a little bit ‘ridiculous’.
As anyone who follows Kim on Instagram knows, the American socialite posts countless selfies on social media including numerous scantily clad ones that attract huge media attention.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is even releasing a book fittingly titled Selfish this May, which features hundreds of never-seen-before photos Kim has taken of herself.
Opening up about her photo fixation, Kim told Adweek she agrees it’s “ridiculous” but she enjoys it so much she isn’t going to stop any time soon.
Reflecting upon Selfish, Kim said: “(I took) my first selfie in 1984, and that opens up the book. For a decade, I’ve carried a big digital camera, and I think it’s just fascinating to see the process of what types of photos evolve.
“So many people think that taking selfies is just ridiculous.
“For me, what’s so funny is I love taking pictures and posting them on social media just for memories. I’m kind of letting them know, yes, it is ridiculous, but it’s all fun.”
