'No Kardashian Parking' signs crop up around Los Angeles
Are the family banned from parking in the city?
If any of the Kardashian clan drive to downtown Los Angeles lately, they’re going to find it incredibly difficult to park their expensive motors.
Yes, a prankster has been fixing a series of ‘No Kardashian Parking Anytime’ signs to landmarks, swanky restaurants and upmarket retail outlets across the Californian city.
Audaciously, one of the fake signs was even posted outside the Kardashians’ very own DASH boutique in West Hollywood.
It’s now known that the signs are the work of street artist and London native Plastic Jesus who was deliberately taking a swipe at modern day celebrity culture.
The enigmatic artist said: "I don't have an issue on a personal level (with the Kardashian family), they are doing what they do very well.
“They have the platform to create a lot of money…I don't dislike celebrities, per se. I think people should be recognised for what they do, not who they are."
Kim and Khloe Kardashian are currently in Armenia to mark the 100th anniversary of the Armenian genocide, which claimed 1.5million lives.
Their dad Robert Kardashian, who died in 2003, was the son of Armenian-American parents Helen (née Arakelian) and Arthur Kardashian.
Kim’s husband Kanye West and daughter North are accompanying them on the pilgrimage.
