Joe Wicks reveals girlfriend Rosie suffered tragic miscarriage before having their baby girl

Celebrity fitness guru Joe Wicks recently welcomed a baby girl with his girlfriend, Rosie Jones, in July - announcing the birth on Instagram with a beautiful photo. They revealed two weeks later that they'd decided to name her Indie, as Joe shared a video of himself cuddling his newborn daughter and praising Rosie's midwives.
However, the star of The Body Coach has now revealed in an interview with Giovanna Fletcher on her podcast, Happy Mum, Happy Baby, that Rosie tragically suffered a miscarriage only months before falling pregnant with baby Indie.
Speaking to Giovanna, who herself suffered a miscarriage in the past and recently gave birth to her and her McFly husband Tom's third son, Joe said, "She fell pregnant really quick, within a month, but unfortunately that baby was her miscarriage, so it didn’t quite progress.
"But two only months later she fell pregnant again and then Indie was born."

"I can’t say it really affected me on a massive emotional level because I was so excited she got pregnant and thought we’re all good and she can get pregnant again. I’m not one who looks back."
Giovanna praised Joe for speaking out, posting a photo on her Instagram profile of the two of them alongside the caption, 'His daughter was only a couple of weeks old at the time of recording and it was great listening to the very early days from a dad’s prospective.'
This comes only a few weeks after comedian and TV presenter Chris Ramsey revealed that his wife Rosie had suffered a miscarriage, and called for more conversation around the subject as it happens more often than people think.
