In a recent blog post TV star Jessica Cunningham revealed the heartbreaking news that she had suffered from a miscarriage last month. The mum of three is known for appearing on The Apprentice last year and in January she returned to our screens to appear in Celebrity Big Brother.

The very sad news of her miscarriage comes just a few months after the suicide of her ex-boyfriend Alistair, who was the father of her three girls. Alistair was tragically found dead at his home in Lancashire and last month Jessica wrote a letter to her children about the death of their father.

Writing in her most recent blog post titled, 'And then there was nothing', she revealed that last month she lost her baby.

Just a few weeks after finding out she was pregnant, she had been picking out potential names with her partner Alex, and even downloaded an app showing how the baby grows, however sadly it wasn't meant to be, as she started to suffer from lower back pain.

Jessica then describes in her blog how the miscarriage lasted for three days and she 'felt scared to go to the toilet' because it, 'felt like I was losing the baby'.

She then went on to say how the 'most painful' part was when she did a pregnancy test and it came up negative, whereas just a few days before it had been positive.

Although this is a very difficult time for anyone, Jessica made a point of making sure she didn't let it get her down for too long. She ends her post by saying, 'there were so many more reasons to smile. I smiled for my children, my relationship, our health, the roof over our heads, my family, friends and just being here.

'S--t things happen in life, tragedy, death and things we will never know the answers too. But time is a healer and time needs its time.'

Yesterday Jessica took to Instagram to post an inspirational message, thanking her fans for their support at this difficult time. The photo read, 'Move forward with a happy spirit. And things will always work out.'

Our thoughts are with Jessica and her family at this difficult time.
