An Irish hotel found a cuddly toy and had an ingenious way to try and reunite it with its owner

They even treated it to afternoon tea.

Ever lost a cuddly toy?

One Irish hotel found a toy rabbit and wanted to reunite it with its owner, but while they were waiting for the owner to get in touch they gave the toy rabbit to few treats, all of which was documented on the hotel's Facebook page.

As the owner didn't come forward on the day it was lost it had to stay the night at the hotel, so obviously they put it up in a hotel room.

The next morning before breakfast the bunny was seen 'chilling' with cucumbers covering its eyes.

Then it helped Claire in concierge.

Next it was outside for a post-tea walk with Claire.

By Sunday (3rd January) evening the owners of the little bunny had been found, but it would be Monday before they could come and collect it.

This morning (Monday 4th January) before the owners came to collect the bunny there was time for one last treat - a massage from Kate.

Finally the bunny was reunited with its owner Kate on Monday. The little girl seemed very happy to have her bunny back and begin some more adventures.
