Hunter from Gladiators looks VERY different now

He appeared on the show in the 90s

Rewind your minds back to the 90s and you'll remember entertainment show Gladiators was the highlight of Saturday night TV, with presenters Ulrika Jonsson, John Fashanu and everybody's favourite referee John Anderson.

And whilst new contestants each week tried to win the show, it was the gladiators that were the real stars. Who can forget the likes of Wolf, Jet, Scorpio, Siren, Fox, Lightning, Falcon and... Hunter's relationship with show host Ulrika Jonsson.

Despite being crowned the 'Ultimate Gladiator' after competing against fellow male gladiators in 1999, Hunter (aka James Crossley) still looks after himself and recently showed off his incredible physique to promote his new fitness DVD.

However, despite having the same muscle power, Hunter looks completely unrecognisable to how we all remember him.

Hunter back in 1995:

Fast forward back into 2018 and Hunter is a seminar speaker and personal trainer. The 44-year-old has recently launched an online workout and has a Fit at 40+ DVD which is available to buy online.

The bodybuilder often posts photos of himself to his Instagram page, showing off just how much he has changed since appearing on Gladiators. Gone are his long blond locks and youthful smile...

James appeared on Loose Women back in January where he spoke to the panel about his instant rise to fame off the back of the show.

He said, "Gladiators was in Birmingham, with 10,000 people watching. I was 19, they found me in a bodybuilding show.

"Ten days later I was filming. I wasn’t that athletic at first, I’d just done the bodybuilding, I was rubbish at everything at first. I decided that to truly become a Gladiator you have to put the effort in and it pays off."

He looks great! 💪
