Giovanna Fletcher talks about the 'guilt' that comes with being a mum
She picked up the award for Celebrity Mum of the Year this week.
Tom Fletcher’s wife Giovanna has opened up about being a new mum as she’s named icelolly.com's Celebrity Mum of the Year.
Although she beat Adele and Jessica Ennis-Hill to the title, the author and blogger admits that the award won’t stop her doubting herself.
The 31 year old said: "I don't think that's going to help me at three o'clock in the morning when I'm having a meltdown.
"I think it's perfectly natural that every mum and dad go through periods where they question every single thing that they're doing. The guilt that comes with it, I don't think anyone can prepare you for."
It comes a few days after the new mum revealed on Instagram that she’d been body-shamed by a stranger who pointed out she still had a bump only 11 days after giving birth to her second son Buddy Bob.
Giovanna married the McFly star in 2012, having known each other since they were 13-years-old.
The couple have two children together, two-year-old Buzz and Buddy Bob who was born on the 16th February.
Her husband recently announced via a quirky YouTube video that he'd written a children's Christmas book called 'Christmasaurus' which will be published in October.
