Former The Only Way Is Essex star Amy Childs has announced she is set to become a mum for the first time with her boyfriend Bradley Wright.

Amy, who left TOWIE in 2011, announced her happy news during an interview with OK! Magazine. She said, “I am feeling shocked but happy. I feel so overwhelmed and I keep waking up smiling. We’ve wanted a baby for so long, so we’re happier than we’ve ever been. We wanted one before Bradley went to prison but it didn’t happen.”

Amy met her boyfriend Bradley back in 2014 during a night out in Brentford. After Bradley was jailed for handling stolen goods, the couple briefly split but after his release, Amy admitted she couldn’t live without him and the pair have been loved up since.

Speaking earlier in the year, Amy confessed “When I split up with him I was like a different person. I couldn't think of anything else. It happened very quickly, him going to prison, so it was hard for me."

Upon hearing the reality star’s happy news, fans of the former CBB star were quick to congratulate her on Twitter.

Since Amy first found fame as an original cast member of The Only Way Is Essex, the 26-year-old has undergone a dramatic image haul and looks very unrecognisable compared to her old look.

As well as appearing on TV show’s including TOWIE, Celebrity Big Brother and It’s All About Amy, the reality star has also released her own fragrance, a fitness DVD, a range of eyelashes and owns an aesthetics and beauty clinic.

Amy revealed she is 12 weeks pregnant. Congratulations to the happy couple.
