Ellie Goulding breaks social media silence to hint there's NEW music on the way

Fans of Elie Goulding were sent into meltdown over the weekend after she deleted EVERYTHING from her social media pages, before uploading three very similar animal print pictures to her Instagram profile.
The posts had no captions, giving fans of the 'Still Falling For You' singer absolutely no idea of what to expect or what could be coming in the future for Ellie Goulding, who has kept a relatively low profile over the last couple of years.
However, Ellie - who will be performing at Hits Live in Manchester next month - has now broken her silence to upload two brand new photos to both her Twitter and Instagram profiles.
The first image shows a cartoon photo of three arms with tattoos of a dinosaur, a triangle and a sleeve including a pineapple and a flame as well as some text. The post was captioned, 'CLOSE TO ME', which could indicate that a new song is on the way with that title and that the new image could be some artwork.

Of course, fans rushed to the comments section to try and figure out the connection between the seemingly random images on the arms, with one writing, 'Different signs?' as another added, 'Beautiful artwork!'
The second photo uploaded shows Ellie posing in a side profile wearing a glitzy pink jacket, complete with sequins and fringing - but this post did not feature a caption.
Fans took to the comments on this post to exclaim over how beautiful Ellie looked in the photo, with many simply writing heart-eyed emojis and 'Stunning!' whilst one added, 'Omg something is coming!'
