Burberry slammed for hiring Brooklyn Beckham
There's an angry reaction to his photoshoot.
16-year-old Brooklyn Beckham was chosen to photograph Burberry's latest social media campaign, but was it just because he's from a famous family?
Whilst most 16-year-olds' work experience consists of making cups of tea and shadowing members of staff, Brooklyn Beckham has landed the opportunity of a lifetime - to conduct a shoot at a top fashion house.
Last Saturday Brooklyn snapped photos for Burberry's social media campaign while the whole experience was being streamed online through Burberry's official Instagram and Snapchat channels.
While others took a more sarcastic approach saying, 'Nice to see him get his chance after years of studying his craft'.
However Christopher Bailey, Burberry chief creative and chief executive officer, defended the decision saying, "Brooklyn has a really great eye for image...His style and attitude were exactly what we wanted to capture the spirit of this new fragrance campaign."
And not all the responses were negative - some came out in support of the 16-year-old saying, ''full credit to him #working to make his own name' and 'What a huge achievement for such a young lad'.
Burberry and the Beckham family have worked closely before with Brooklyn's younger brother Romeo modelling for their Christmas campaign last year.
