Britain's Got Talent accused of fix scandal
The show has been caught up in more drama
Since the new series of Britain’s Got Talent hit our screens last month the show has been caught up in a number of controversial fix scandals and now another has emerged.
The latest controversy arrived when ballet dancing duo, Bitter Harvest, took to the stage on Saturday night's episode of the show.
Eagle eyed fans of the show were quick to point out the duo, made up of married couple Shannon and Peter Parker, had actually appeared on a different talent show a few years back.
It turns out Shannon and Peter achieved success back in 2014 on Sky 1’s Got To Dance, however they lost out on winning the show to another dance act called Duplic8.
So when the couple mesmerised the Britain’s Got Talent judges with their stunning performance to Birdy’s hit song ‘Wings’, fans of the show were quick to express their disappointment and brand the show a ‘joke’.
The couple appeared on Lorraine to plead why they should stay in the competition after the uproar, saying “We want to show people our story. We’ve got lots of ideas we want to share, especially the production side of things. It’s very exciting and we’ve got our fingers crossed that we will be able to do that. We just want to make everyone enjoy ballet.”

This wasn’t the only controversy to come out of the weekend's show. When Ant and Dec made their way on stage to push the golden buzzer for 14-year-old Jasmine Elcock, fans were yet again angry at the decision.
Jasmine stunned the judges and the audience with her incredible rendition of Cher’s track ‘Believe’, but after viewers discovered she has in fact appeared in hit West End show Annie, fans of the show claimed the buzzer had been wasted on a professional.

Despite the criticism of the show, other viewers were left blown away at Jasmine’s performance and tweeted their support for the 14-year-old.
The show’s producers continue to insist the show is open to everybody and is not fixed in any way.
Britain’s Got Talent continues Saturdays at 8pm.
