Another celebrity added to Strictly Come Dancing line-up
A sixth contestant has been added!
Former Eternal singer and wife to retired footballer Jamie Redknapp has become the sixth celebrity announced to take part in Strictly Come Dancing.
Louise revealed the news this afternoon (Monday 15th August) saying “I've sung in front of crowds of thousands before but the idea of stepping out onto that famous dance floor with a world class professional dancer gives me butterflies just thinking about it! I’m a big fan of the show and am definitely going to go out there and give it 100% as I want to make my boys proud.”

The mum-of-two found fame in 90’s girl band Eternal alongside Vernie Bennett, Easther Bennet and Kelle Bryan. The bands biggest hit ‘I Wanna Be The Only One’ reached number 1 in the charts back in 1997.
Louise married former England footballer Jamie Redknapp in 1998 and has two children with the 43-year-old.
The announcement comes just days after KISS FM DJ Melvin Odoom revealed he is set to take part in the popular dancing competition.
Announcing the news on his radio show, Melvin revealed it has been ‘really really hard’ to keep the news a secret. He later tweeted his excitement about his new venture.
