Aliens actress Sigourney Weaver set to appear in ITV drama Doc Martin

Aliens actress Sigourney Weaver is making a surprise appearance in ITV comedy drama Doc Martin.
Swapping sunny Hollywood Hills for the blustery Cornish Coast, 65-year-old Sigourney has been spotted filming scenes for the show in Port Isaac alongside co-star Martin Clunes.
A member of the public posted footage of the unlikely cameo on YouTube this week depicting Sigourney as a tourist equipped with a camera and walking attire.
Accompanying the clip, YouTube user ‘cjhuk’ wrote: “Doc Martin live filming in 2015 for the new series 7 / session 7, with this small collection of clips that were taken while Dr Martin Ellingham was visiting Portwenn pharmacy, with a scene that includes Sigourney Weaver!
“Martin Clunes was very good with the crowd watching, and took a shine to my little Springer Spaniel, and we even managed to snag a lovely photo!!”
As well as Aliens, Sigourney has starred an a string of immensely successful films over her four decade career including Ghostbusters, Gorillas in the Mist, WALL-E, Working Girl and The Ice Storm.
She also starred as Dr. Grace Augustine in the most successful movie of all time, 2009’s ‘Avatar’.
