Strictly's Alexandra Burke hits back at 'fake' stories about her

Earlier in the series Alexandra Burke was one of the favourites to win this year's Strictly Come Dancing, but after a series of 'fake' stories about her behaviour on the show, the former X Factor winner has found herself in the bottom two in the last two weeks.
Clearly annoyed at the negativity surrounding her, Alexandra has decided to hit back at her online critics, and denied any meltdown after the weekend's show.
She wrote, 'Because it’s really hard to read lies. I have to say something... after the show on the weekend I actually WASN’T in the green room. I was in the physio room treating an injury and then went home. NO meltdown... just happy that we made it through another week xx'
Many rumours have been circulating online that Alexandra has been acting like a 'diva' backstage, with some calling her too 'cocky'.
Prior to hitting back at her critics, Alexandra posted a message of thanks to her fans, thanking them for their support throughout the competition.
Sharing a photo of herself and her dance partner Gorka Marquez, she wrote, 'Thank you so much to everyone who has supported @gorkamarquez1 & I. Your kind messages mean the world to us ❤. Being in the dance off was horrible but we are so happy to have made it to the semi finals! Can’t wait to dance again on Saturday & continue this amazing journey xxx' sic
It's being reported that some viewers of the show are not voting for the likes of Alexandra, due to the fact they think she has an unfair advantage over contestants such as Key 103 presenter Gemma Atkinson and actor Joe McFadden.
The singer gained 39 points out of 40 after her energetic Mary Poppins-themed Charleston on Saturday night. Despite being top of the leaderboard, Alexandra found herself in the bottom two for the second week running. EastEnders actor Davood Ghadami lost his place on the dancing competition, after Alexandra was saved by the judging panel.
The competition is hotting up, with only five pairs left including:
