Adele picked up a massive five awards at the Grammy Awards last night, including the big award 'Album of the Year', but in a shock twist she broke the award in two to split it with Beyoncé.
Yes, it seems the superstar didn't agree with the panel choosing her album ‘25’ as the winner and had a complete Mean Girls moment on stage.
Addressing the star studded crowd after winning the award, Adele tearfully said, "I can't possibly accept this award, and I'm very humbled and very grateful and gracious but my life is Beyoncé, and the album to me, the Lemonade album, Beyoncé, was so monumental, and so well thought out."
"And so beautiful and soul bearing and we all got to see another side of you that you don't always let us see, and we appreciate that.
"All of us artists adore you. You are our light. And the way that you make me and my friends feel, the way you make my black friends feel is empowering, and you make them stand up for themselves.
"And I love you. I always have. And I always will".
The 'Hello' singer then snapped her award in two, leaving viewers at home in shock, with many comparing the incredible moment to the famous scene with Lindsay Lohan on the 2004 movie Mean Girls.
It was a massively successful night for Adele who won all five of the awards she was nominated for. These included, 'Album of the Year', 'Record of the Year', 'Song of the Year', 'Best Pop Vocal Album' and 'Best Pop Solo Performance'.
Impressive! 👏
The London born singer also wowed audiences with a stunning performance of her hit track 'Hello' at the start of the night, and then paid a touching tribute to the late George Michael.
After experiencing deja vu by being hit with more sound issues, Adele asked to start her performance again, after months of preparation in tribute to George.
She said to the live band, "I can't mess this up for him", before giving a stunning stripped back performance of 'Fastlove'.
