Barnardo's Family Support Team

Barnardo’s Family Support Team is an equal opportunities project providing community based support for families from any culture which include a child or young person who has a significant learning disability. This is within the age range of 0-19 years and catchment area of Dundee.

In partnership with Dundee City Council Social Work Department, the project aims to provide a range of individualised support to children and young people with significant learning disabilities and their families.

Dave Anderson, Children’s Services Manager at Barnardo’s, says:

"Our service, which supports children and young people with significant learning disabilities and their families, have been beneficiaries of Cash for Kids for many years, really since the start of this wonderful initiative.
