Dog Attack Leaves Father And Children Injured
A father and his two young children have been seriously injured by a dog.
The attack happened in a field near Aberlemno, Forfar, Angus, at around 5.30pm yesterday.
A 49-year-old man, a nine-year-old girl and a seven-year-old boy suffered facial, leg and arm injuries and were taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee where they continue to receive treatment.
The dog, reportedly a boxer, has been killed, police said.
A statement from Police Scotland added: "Officers are making further inquiries into the full circumstances of the incident. Anyone with information that could assist officers with their inquiries should contact Police Scotland on 101."
