Justin Bieber beats a 51-year-old Beatles world record
He's had a very successful year...
Justin Bieber has beaten a 51-year-old Beatles world record of having the most songs in the charts in a week.
Following the release of his new album 'Purpose', Justin Bieber has gained more accolades under his belt having beaten the One Direction boys on the Billboard charts.
Plus he's now beaten the phenomenal record of having the most songs in the Hot 100 Billboard chart in one week.
On the December 5th edition of Billboard’s Hot 100, Justin Bieber had a whopping 17 songs on the list beating the record of the Beatles’ 14 songs (in the sixties) and Drake from this year.
As if that wasn’t enough, not only did his new album make it to No.1 but now he's also on par with a record held by both 50 Cent and the Beatles, having had three of his songs make it into the top five of the Billboard’s Hot 100.
There is no doubt that Justin Bieber has had an impressive year musically, however with Adele’s new album 25 selling 2.3 million copies in its first three days in the U.S. alone, the 'What Do You Mean' star might have to move over!
