LISTEN: Dundee retains Scottish University of the Year award

The University of Dundee has won the prize for a second year in a row.

The University of Dundee has been named Scottish University of the Year for the second time in a row in The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide.

The institute's been praised for the quality of its teaching, and for the student experience it provides.

The university was ranked 28th in the UK overall.

Indre Urbanaviciute, president of Dundee University Student Association spoke to Tay News reporter Lizzie Parker.

The University of St Andrews has been listed third in the guide's league table overall, matching its highest ever finish.

It's also won the prize for of University of the Year for Teaching Quality, and was runner-up for the UK University of the Year title.
