Scottish Labour leader Kezia Dugdale is to marry her long-term partner after getting engaged on holiday.
Ms Dugdale said she "couldn't be happier" after getting engaged to Louise Riddell in Mallorca.
The couple have been together since 2008 but the MSP talked publicly about her relationship for the first time in April.
She told the Daily Record: "I'm utterly thrilled to be marrying the love of my life and we can't wait to start planning."
Ms Dugdale said earlier this year she had been overwhelmed by the support she received after revealing in a interview that she had a female partner.
Scottish Conservative leader Ruth Davidson is also set to marry after announcing her engagement to partner Jen Wilson in May.
Ms Davidson tweeted: "Huge congrats to Kezia Dugdale and Louise Riddell on their engagement. Jen and I are delighted for you both. Lovely news."
